Tsih (ツィー Tsī) is one of the playable characters in 100% Orange Juice!. She was added to the game in DLC 17 alongside Tequila. She originates from the game Sora in which she was an antagonist.

Passives[edit source]

  • Gain +2 ATK if holding one or more Gift cards. (Does not stack per gift)

Overview[edit source]

A warrior with a deceptively childish personality, Tsih is an aggressive soldier, with a love of crushing her enemies with rocks. Tsih features stats very similar to Suguri with a health stat of 4, a slightly below-average defense stat, and a powerful +2 evasion stat. This renders her somewhat fragile but provides her with a fair amount of survivability thanks to her high evasion stat. It can also enable Tsih, dominate defensive characters such as Fernet and Kyoko as she will more than likely be able to deal damage and evade their counter-attacks, thanks to their debuffed attacked stat. Tsih should generally not have much difficulty dealing with  Encounter panels, either. Although she may be unable to defeat the opponent as a result of her neutral attack, she often will be able to escape without even a scratch. She can also take great advantage of  Rainbow-Colored Circle to dodge even the most vicious of attacks, like those of a boss. For Tsih to truly reach her full potential, however, she requires a bit more setup and luck. Tsih posses a neutral attack stat, however, her passive enables her gain an additional +2 if the player is holding at least 1 gift card. Any of the following cards will work with her passive:

Standard Cards Hypers Cards Event Only
 Bloodlust
 Lost Child
 Lucky Charm
 Metallic Monocoque
 Poppo the Snatcher
 Price of Power
 Unlucky Charm
 Windy Enchantment
 Banned for Life
 Miracle Red Bean Ice Cream
 Red & Blue
 Santa's Job
 Sweet Battle!

Arguably the best gift card for Tsih to hold is either  Price of Power and  Metallic Monocoque as both can be held indefinitely regardless of whether the player is KO'd and provide very little drawback. Theoretically, the absolute best cards for Tsih are either  Red & Blue or  Miracle Red Bean Ice Cream as they can give her a frightening +3 attack but these are often much harder to acquire and match-up specific. With a gift in hand, Tsih becomes a much stronger opponent, able to easily defeat  Encounter panels and deal comparable damage to opponents and escape. If the player is particularly lucky, they will receive a gift card as their starting card, enabling Tsih to steamroll the competition before they have powerful counter cards. The passive also has excellent synergy with her hyper card which enables the player to deal potentially devastating blows for a low price.

The main disadvantage to Tsih, however, is that when her passive is not active, she is a weaker Suguri with a weaker hyper. Without her passive, Tsih becomes rather frail and vulnerable without the possibility of dealing much damage in retaliation. Being reliant on a gift card for +2 attack could be considered less dependable than playing a natural +2 attack character, like Tomomo. Another disadvantage lies in gift cards themselves. Of all the card types, gift cards are the least common, and the player can only at max bring 1 of each gift card per match. Most gift cards also carry the effect of preventing norma, like  Lost Child and  Windy Enchantment and will need to be discarded for the player to norma. Some also provide effects that might generally be considered too dangerous for the player such as  Bloodlust and  Poppo the Snatcher or other disadvantageous effects such as  Unlucky Charm.

"Look at me vanish!" ―Tsih

Tsih's hyper is Stealth On. Stealth On gives the unit immunity to player encounters or Boost cards that target the player (this means boost cards with arrow character selection). Upon entering a battle, the unit who played the card gains +2 attack.

Hyper Strategy[edit source]

Stealth On is a protective Hyper similar to  Crystal Barrier designed to keep Tish safe, however, similar to  Solid Witch, the barrier only protects against specific things. For a cheap price, the player can create a 3 chapter barrier that while active, prevents the player from being challenged to a battle when another player lands on the same panel. As to be expected, this can be particularly helpful in cementing victory or temporarily warding off pursuing bully characters. Given the additional +2 attack given when entering battle, the player should always try to pair the card with a gift card, to give Tsih a +4 attack during the battle. The hyper also prevents the player from taking damage from boost cards that lock-on to a specific character. These include:

Hyper Weaknesses[edit source]

Like any Hyper, Stealth On, does carry a few key downsides that greatly weaken it's usefulness. Similar to  Solid Witch, there are numerous holes in the shield generated by the Hyper, mainly which are resulted by indirect effects. Boost cards that do not target Tsih specifically but indirectly target her will still work when the hyper is active. As a result cards such as  Ambush,  Treasure Thief, and  Flip Out will still work as they indirectly target the player. Likewise boost type Hyper cards that indirectly affect the player such as the debuff from  Blazing! will still occur.

Similarly, the user is also not immune to indirect combat. While opponents cannot enter combat with Tsih directly, they can enter it indirectly through card affects. Thus cards such as  Invasion,  Whimsical Windmill, and  Assault among others, will result in combat. The Hyper also does not protect against  Encounter or  Boss panels as they are forced combats and not challenges to combat. As a result, the Hyper will be relatively useless against field events such as BattlefieldBattlefield
Every 6 Chapters, all PBonus.png Bonus and PDrop.png Drop panels will become PEncounter.png Encounter panels. This effect lasts for 3 Chapters.
.

Tips[edit source]

Playing As Tsih
  • Since Tsih is strongest when her passive is active, the player should always try to get a gift card. The gift card that is technically the best for this task is  Metallic Monocoque as it does not drop on KO, does not stop Norma, and out-of-battle damage is reduced with a cost of stars.  Price of Power can execute well too, especially early-game.
  • Despite the star loss caused by it,  Unlucky Charm is a very comparable card for Tsih. Like the above-mentioned gifts, it does not drop on KO. It is unique, however, in that it can take advantage of the opponent. Unless the opponent waits for a full hand to discard it, they will likely pass it to another player, and as a result, it can be a quick way for the player to receive a gift card. The player can then either hold the card until they receive a better gift or KO opponents to make up for the star loss.
  • Tsih can use  Mix Phenomenon to counter her hyper's lack of  Encounter and  Boss panel protection.
  • Like Suguri, Tsih can benefit incredibly from  Rainbow-Colored Circle, rendering her almost impossible to hit with +4 EVD.
  • Cards like  Princess's Privilege and  Nice Present can be used to help the player find a gift card.
Playing Against Tsih
  • Any card that causes Tsih to drop cards such as  Scrambled Eve,  Present Thief, and  Flamethrower among others can be used to increase the chance of Tsih losing her gift card is she is currently in possession of one.
  • While cards like  Final Battle and  Little War are risky, they can be used to generally good effect against Tsih, as her stats are not conducive to long fights.
  • Player's should take advantage of  Stealth On's indirect attack weakness, and exploit it with cards that go around the protective effect like  Oh My Friend,  Assault, and  Ambush.
