Acceleration of SUGURI 2 is a single player and multiplayer video game developed by Orange_Juice and published by Fruitbat Factory.
This game is a direct sequel to Sora, but unlike the previous game, this game is a duel-style shoot'em'up, exactly like Acceleration of SUGURI. Matches consists of 2 characters fighting to deplete the health bar of the opposing character, with the player controlling one of the characters.

Acceleration of SUGURI 2 was released in Japan on August 14th, 2011 during the third day of Comiket 80 and was the ninth game developed by Orange_Juice. It was also released onto DLsite for online distribution on the same day.[1][2][3]
After the Breaker Pack was released as DLC for 100% Orange Juice on June 7th, 2016, Acceleration of SUGURI 2 was announced for a release through Steam through an in-game cutscene in 100% Orange Juice. If the Chaos of the Sweet Gods campaign was beaten by using , will tell Suguri that she received a message from her little sister. This message says that Suguri will be coming soon and there are two codes at the end of the message. One of these codes, if placed at the end of the Fruitbat Factory website URL, will show a page for Acceleration of SUGURI 2 and the other code is a discount code for the game through the Fruitbat Factory store.[4]
Closed Beta invites were sent on December 26th, 2017 to those who pre-ordered through the Fruitbat Factory store. The Beta contained only online and match modes and six playable characters, , , , , , and . Each week, additional characters were unlocked and made available to play as.[5]
On January 15, 2018, pre-orders for Acceleration of SUGURI 2 and its soundtrack were made available through Steam.[6]
Open Beta became available on February 22nd, 2018, with it being available to anyone by installing the demo listed on the Steam store page. Suguri, Sora, Alte, Tsih, Nanako, Kae, Mira, and Iru were playable in the Open Beta, with online and match modes still being the only playable modes.[7][5]
The game was finally made available for purchase through Steam on March 7th, 2018. Also on this day, Open Beta ended, with the demo now supporting six out of the fifteen characters with online and match mode.[8]

Sometime after the events of Acceleration of Suguri, something begins to move around a piece of the spaceship that fell to the Earth in SUGURI.
arrives at a site where someone was seen to be flying in the sky. She notes that her senses seem to be dull in this area and thinks that someone is trying to keep her away. suddenly appears, trying to sucker punch Suguri but Suguri dodges it in time. Suguri recognizes Mira, she saw their profile before, and asks why they are here. Mira says it is annoying that they are repeating what they used to do during the war, but they have to follow orders from their employer, they have to beat up Suguri. Suguri notices that this is actually a mechanical doll that is built to look like Mira, but it contains the memories and personality of the original Mira. Mira says that if they beat up Suguri, then they will be allowed to do whatever they want, so Mira attacks Suguri.
After beating all the reproductions of those who fought during the war, Suguri arrives at the site of the piece of the spaceship, where is waiting for her. Star Breaker welcomes Suguri as the guardian angel of the planet as Suguri is shocked that even Star Breaker was reproduced. Star Breaker introduces herself as a monster that turns planets into dust. Suguri says that Star Breaker is not allowed to exist in this world and Star Breaker agrees, saying that there is nothing to do since there is no war. Star Breaker says that Suguri is born to repair the planet, and she was born to break the planet, they must fight now that they have met each other. They must fight to determine who gets to accomplish their goal. Suguri pities Star Breaker but agrees to fight, stating that Star Breaker is not allowed to be here.
After beating Star Breaker, Suguri enters the spaceship and she meets Sumika, who was expecting Suguri. Sumika reveals herself as part of the ship Suguri destroyed and that she is the mastermind behind all these events. Sumika only recently obtained her body and she wants to avenge Shifu's death. Sumika knows that Suguri is not to blame for Shifu's death but Suguri destroyed the ship, leaving her body unfinished, and since Shifu died, no one was able to finish her body. Sumika had to go through hard times until her body was completed on its own. When her body was finished, she decided to first take out all her stress onto Suguri by creating imitations of the people from the great war and sending them to fight Suguri. Suguri says Sumika has bad taste for sending those people after her and Sumika agrees. Sumika says this would only bother Suguri, so it was a perfect plan for revenge. Suguri asks, if Sumika is happy now and Sumika responds by saying that Suguri did not suffer enough, Suguri needs to go through 80% more suffering. Sumika wants to finish the remaining 80% here and now, and Suguri allows Sumika to try to make her suffer. Suguri states that she wont show any mercy, but Sumika asks Suguri to at least show some mercy, then the two fight.
After beating Sumika, Sumika says she knew Suguri would win, Suguri's system is incredible and is like a backup of the planet. Suguri responds by saying she does not know how she ended up this powerful. Sumika says when Suguri had finished reviving the planet to a certain point, Suguri became more powerful. Suguri is surprised that Sumika knew this much and Sumika states that she has gone through most of the data of the planet. Sumika speculates that perhaps Suguri's limiter was removed because Suguri's system evolved by itself somehow. Suguri says all this doesn't matter and asks Sumika if she is happy now. Sumika says its more like she has given up at this point than happy. Suguri forgives Sumika and asks her to promise not to do anything crazy again. Sumika tells Suguri that Suguri's future will be a hard one because according to her research, human history has reached the halfway point and will not last forever and Suguri says she has noticed this too but even when knowing this and even when everyone is gone, she will continue to stay on the planet. Sumika admits that she can never beat Suguri with her mind and will being this strong. Sumika agrees with Suguri to never do anything crazy again.

thinks about how much work it took to make the planet beautiful again, it has been ten thousand years since her own era. Sora wishes she could have helped the people of the past revive the planet. Sora was then surprised when suddenly shows up saying it has been forever since they saw each other and asks why Sora looks so shocked. Sora wonders if she is dreaming but Sham tells her that this is real. Sora asks if Sham is really Sham and Sham responds by saying it's a good question, further confusing Sora. Sham says her mind and body are Sham's to a degree but the difference is that this time, she is not on Sora's side. Sora wonders what this means, but Sham stops the conversation and fights Sora.
After beating those she fought in the past, Sora still wonders why people from ten thousand years ago are fighting in the present time. Sora arrives at the site of the piece of the spaceship, where she finds telling Sora not feel sad. Hime says she knows who is doing all of this, reviving people from the planet's memories and sending them to attack Sora and her friends. Hime can see why this person is doing this but cant believe this person is taking it this far, Sora says all this is unforgivable. Hime asks if she can take care of this since it is someone she knows but Sora disagrees with Hime. Sora does not want to overlook something so horrible and wants to fight this person. Hime really wants to deal with this on her own and does not want Sora to fight anymore, and she threatens to chain Sora up if she won't stop. Sora says she will just beat Hime and run.
After beating Hime, Sora enters the spaceship looking for the mastermind. Sumika welcomes Sora but asks why Sora came of all people. Sumika says she has no business with Sora but thinks of a reason to spite Sora after remembering that Sora did beat all her imitations, ruining her plans. Sora asks Sumika why she woke the people from the past up, and Sumika answers by saying she took the strongest people out of the planet's memories and recreated them so she can use them for revenge. However, Sora was not initially one of Sumika's targets for revenge but since Sora ruined her revenge, Sumika thinks Sora deserves some pain. Sora says she already had enough pain by seeing those who are in rest fight again, Sora cannot forgive Sumika for this. Sumika says Sora looks scary as Sora tells Sumika to get ready to fight.
After beating Sumika, Sora makes Sumika promise to never do anything like this again, and Sumika promises. Sumika tells Sora that she has a message for her while looking through the planet's memories, Sumika wanted to give it to Sora when they meet. Sumika gets an idea and asks a Sham imitation to come out and read the message to Sora. The message is from the original Sham, thanking Sora for ending the war and keeping their promise. The original Sham explains that everyone in the past will repair the planet in hopes that Sora wakes up to a blue sky. The reproduced Sham admits that she is not the real Sham but she really appreciates everything Sora has done and apologizes for attacking Sora earlier. Sumika apologizes, saying it was her fault for ordering her imitations to attack anyone flying in the sky. Sora is happy to hear the message coming directly from Sham. Sham says she is not supposed to exist here and she will have to go back to where she belongs and tells Sora to be happy with the blue sky.

arrives at a site where someone was seen to be flying in the sky. She says to herself that she is better at searching for people than anyone else because of her scouting abilities. Tsih finds Saki first while holding a huge rock. Saki is amazed that, in her own words, a little girl is holding a huge rock. Tsih finds Saki calling her a little girl offensive and swings the rock at Saki, which she evades. Saki's pleads for Tsih to stop swinging rocks at her, but Tsih does not stop, Tsih wants to beat up Saki.
After beating all those who fought during the war, Saki arrives at the site of the piece of the spaceship and Saki asks herself why she is getting attacked. She wonders if the reason she is being attacked is because she is ultra super cute. shows up admitting that Saki is adorable. However, Sham says she is also cute, slightly cuter than Saki. Saki cannot let Sham's remark pass, but Saki also admits that Sham is cute, stating that Sham has a super attractive, smoking hot body. However, Saki states she is more cuter than Sham because she can cook and she has a cheerful personality. Sham argues that she owns a cheerful personality as well. Saki says both girl's cheerful level are equal at the moment, to which Sham agrees. Both agree that whoever can fight cuter and obtain victory shall be the cutest.
After beating Sham, Saki enters the spaceship, proclaiming herself as the cutest girl of the entire planet. Sumika reveals herself and greets Saki. Saki recalls that the ship's name is Sumika, and Sumika says she is the embodiment of the ship's cuteness. Sumika does not like how everyone is having fun and she was left alone, which is the reason why she sent all those attackers after Saki. Saki is worried because she is worn out after all the battles, and Sumika thinks she can win if Saki is all worn out. Sumika states she will take down Saki and claim the title of the cutest girl of the entire planet. Saki will not let her title be taken, she agrees that Sumika is cute, like a flower in a desert, but she herself is ultra super cute, like a flower field under a starry night sky. Saki announces that she will be the master of cuteness, then the two fight.
After beating Sumika, Saki proclaims herself as the master of cuteness. Sumika asks Saki if she feels embarrassed about herself, and Saki admits she is after calming down. So, to tease Saki, Sumika proclaims herself as the master of cuteness, she is ultra super cute, like a flower field under a starry night sky. Saki asks Sumika to forgive her, she was just riding on the mood. Saki asks Sumika what was her goal, and Sumika is dumbfounded, Saki was asking this too late.

An unknown person wakes up . Alte asks why she is revived, and the unknown person says Alte is not revived, she is reproduced. This person is in an urgent need for strong soldiers that are stronger than the Shifu Brands. Alte does not understand the situation but but knows that she will have to obey this person if it is an order. Alte could not believe she has to fight on this planet again, after it was revived.
After beating the Shifu Brands and the ship's guardian angel, , Alte arrives back to where she woke up, the site of the piece of the spaceship, and she finds the last of the Shifu Brand, . Kyoko finds it cumbersome how attackers come one after another and Alte praises Kyoko for coming this far for being out of shape. Kyoko asks Alte to treat her more gently since Alte knows her body is out of shape. Alte declines to go gently because her orders must be followed, however Alte dislikes having to go with her full force on someone who is teetering on the edge. So Kyoko asks Alte if she can let her go home then, since Alte does not agree with the orders. Alte attacks Kyoko, asking Kyoko to not hold a grudge against her, Kyoko gets another headache.
After beating Kyoko, Alte goes to the person who reproduced her, stating that her mission is complete. This person is revealed to be Sumika, and she applauds Alte's work for hurting the Shifu Brands and the Guardians. Alte asks what she is supposed to do now that her mission is done, and Sumika responds by saying Alte will not be able to exist for much longer. Sumika gets and idea for Alte to fight her, in order to get combat experience. Alte is angry that Sumika made her for selfish reasons and that she will disappear soon. Sumika tells Alte to focus her anger into fighting Sumika, so Sumika can get lots of experience, and Alte agrees to.
After beating Sumika, Sumika complains that this fight is far from level grinding. Alte forgives Sumika, after feeling better from the fight. Alte has a question for Sumika, since she has been researching the planet's memories, Alte wants to know what happened to someone, her husband. Sumika teases Alte by asking if this person is her boyfriend and tells Alte not to be embarrassed. Sumika reveals that Alte's husband's data is not in the planet's memories but in the ship's data archives. He was one of the earliest crew members of the ship, Alte is relived to hear her husband lasted through the war. Sumika also reveals that Alte's husband remained single for the rest of his life, perhaps by being unable to get Alte out of his mind. Alte calls her husband a moron for remaining single and states that now she has no regrets and will go back to sleep now. Sumika apologizes to Alte for ordering Alte around and thanks her for her work. Alte tells Sumika to not ever wake her up again and Sumika agrees not to.

Her skills will go rusty if not practiced on for a while, Iru wants to fight something. appears before Iru and accepts Iru request for a fight. Iru asks who Alte is, and Alte introduces herself. Iru wants to fight but she can't fight some stranger she just met, Alte responds by allowing Iru to fight her because Alte has a reason to fight Iru. Iru guesses she should just take the offer, since Alte is eager to fight, and tells Alte she won't go easy on her. Alte will not go easy on Iru either.
After beating all the reproductions of those who fought during the war, Iru arrives at the site of the piece of the spaceship, and wonders why she has to keep fighting all these people but she is happy after getting a chance to fight after a long time. Iru also wonders who she is going to run into next. shows up, stating that her target is Iru. Iru thinks Nath looks very cool, with how her shoulders are replaced with heavy armory. Nath has never been told something like this before, as Iru continues to be amazed by Nath. Nath tells Iru that all this praise is going to make it harder to fight Iru. Iru wants to fight Nath to see what her weapons are like, and Nath agrees to a fight.
After beating Nath, Iru enters the spaceship a recognizes it. Sumika shows up and welcomes Iru, introducing herself. Iru recalls that the ship's name is Sumika. Sumika is mad that everyone abandoned the ship and had fun, leaving Sumika alone. Iru thinks Sumika is a ghost of the ship, and Sumika responds by saying Iru's brain is cute as before. Iru does not understand what Sumika is saying with her brain being cute and asks if Sumika is going to fight her and Sumika says she is on a far higher level than everyone Iru just fought. Iru says she won't lose to a ghost and Sumika replies by saying she is not a ghost, then the two fight.
After beating Sumika, Iru thanks Sumika for such a great workout. Sumika is disappointed that her hatred is just bouncing off Iru's head. Iru is now hungry and so she is going to go home now. Sumika feels sad, however Iru asks Sumika to go home together. Iru reasons that since Sumika is the ship, she is practically family. Iru asks her to go home together again, saying was in a good mood and must have prepared some treats. Iru apologizes to Sumika for leaving her alone all this time. Iru wants Sumika to eat a lot and be happy and to rest in peace, still thinking Sumika is a ghost. Sumika screams that she is not a ghost.

Kae comments that Tsih is even shorter than . Kae's comment offends Tsih so Tsih hurls a giant rock at Kae. Kae says Tsih is strong but says she is stronger than Tsih. Tsih says these are big words for Kae and the two fight to see who is stronger.
After beating Kae, Tsih goes to the person who reproduced her, stating that she is done. This person is revealed to be Sumika, and she applauds Tsih's work for hurting the Shifu Brands and the Guardians. Tsih asks what she should do now and Sumika responds by saying Tsih will not be able to exist for much longer. Sumika gets and idea for Tsih to fight her, in order to get combat experience. Tsih agrees to go all out on Sumika and Sumika is grateful for Tsih doing her best but Tsih also says she will squish Sumika to death between two huge rocks. This was more than what Sumika was asking for but Tsih insists on squishing Sumika. Sumika asks if Tsih is mad and Tsih replies by telling Sumika she will regret treating her as a level grinding enemy, then the two fight.
After beating Sumika, Tsih asks Sumika again on what she is supposed to do now. Sumika has nothing for Tsih to do anymore so Tsih decides to go out and eat yummy food. Tsih is sure that now that the planet is restored, there should be lots of delicious food. Tsih wants to fill her empty stomach and mind with sweet food and spicy food, as long as it is not bitter. Sumika breaks the news to Sumika that the way she recreated them, they cannot eat. Tsih shivers and shake at Sumika's words. After pulling herself together, Tsih resolves to mash Sumika between two huge rocks and Sumika pleads Tsih not to.

Nanako wants to make it so whoever wins can get out of the searching job, but Kae does not really want to slack off. Nanako doesn't care if Kae wants to do the job or not, she decides to just fight so she can go home.
Nanako beats Kae but now that Kae is knocked out, only Nanako can do the job she was assigned to do.
After beating all those who fought during the war, Nanako arrives at the site of the piece of the spaceship and Nanako asks herself why people are attacking her. Nanako curses Kae for easily passing out from their fight and having to keep working after. appears and answers Nanako's question by saying she is their target. Nanako is exhausted and Mira says to make things easier, just let them beat up Nanako and Nanako will be done with her job. Nanako won't let some weirdo beat her up, saying how Mira's speech and act are weird, like Mira's red muffler. Nanako asks if Mira has no fashion sense and Mira says they look awesome with the red muffler, it is a sign of a hero. Nanako does not understand Mira and does not want to understand. Mira fights Nanako for making fun of them.
After beating Mira, Nanako enters the spaceship and recognizes it. Sumika reveals herself and welcomes Nanako home. Nanako recalls that the ship's name is Sumika, and Sumika says she is the incarnation of the ship. Nanako says she does not care and assumes Sumika is behind everything. Sumika proves Nanako's assumption correct, saying she cannot stand everyone having fun without her, which is why she sent people to attack Nanako. Nanako gives Sumika a scary look for making her do all this work, it was too much effort to fight all of the attackers. Nanako tries to blame Sumika for Kae too but Sumika argues she is not responsible for that. Nanako decides to pour her anger into fighting Sumika, so the two fight.
After beating Sumika, Nanako makes Sumika promise to never bother her again. Sumika promises and apologizes. Nanako makes Sumika to also promise to never disobey her again. Sumika promises again and apologizes again. Nanako claims Sumika as her slave and Sumika almost promises to be Nanako's slave until she fully realizes what Nanako is saying. Nanako calls Sumika Pooch and decides to go home. Sumika says she isn't Pooch and not Nanako's slave, but Nanako threatens to use her bits and Sumika quivers. Sumika is fine being Pooch and wonders to herself how everything has come to this.

After beating the Shifu Brands and the ship's guardian angel, , Mira arrives back to where they woke up, the site of the piece of the spaceship, and they find the last of the Shifu Brand, . Nanako asks Mira who they are and Mira introduce themselves. Mira apologizes to Nanako that they will have to beat her up, Nanako sighs in response. Nanako says she is exhausted so Mira says to make things easier, just let them beat up Nanako and Nanako can rest. Nanako won't let some weirdo beat her up, saying how Mira's speech and act are weird, like Mira's red muffler. After beating Sumika, Sumika wishes Mira went easy on her. Mira argues that Sumika did want to see Mira's full power in the first place. Mira wonders what they should do next and Sumika suggest for them to go look around the planet. Everything is more laid-back than the age where Mira originated from, so Mira decides to take their time to enjoy the peace. Mira just noticed that everything is shiny and bright, they never knew the planet was this beautiful. Now they understand why was dying to protect the planet. Mira sets off to go see what the planet is like.

After beating Tsih, Kae is happy from the nice workout Tsih gave her and finds herself inside the spaceship. Kae wonders where she is as Sumika reveals herself and introduces herself. Kae recalls that the ship's name is Sumika, and Sumika says she is the incarnation of the ship. Sumika is mad that everyone left her behind so Kae apologizes but Sumika would not forgive Kae. Mad that the Shifu Brands forgot about their old home, Sumika threatens to put everyone inside a dark room. Kae broke down and shivers after hearing Sumika's threat. Sumika, after mentally incapacitating Kae, decides to use this opportunity to beat Kae but then Kae stops shivering. Kae does not want to be locked up ever again an releases her fighting spirit. Kae tells Sumika that if Sumika wants to lock Kae up, Kae will crush her, then the two fight.
After beating Sumika, Sumika apologizes for saying something horrible to Kae. Kae accepts Sumika's apology and decides to go home. Kae tells Sumika that she will come and visit Sumika every now and then so she won't be lonely anymore. Kae apologizes for forgetting about Sumika and promises to come back to play. Sumika pleads with Kae to not play anymore.

An unknown person wakes up . Sham wants to celebrate her comeback rather than follow this person's orders. The persons tells Sham to just get the order done. Sham finds not wanting to fight Sora but having no choice to. Sora asks if Sham is really Sham and Sham answers she cannot say if she is real but she is a close approximation. Sora says Sham is not makign any sense. Sham calls Sora and airhead and that is what makes Sora adorable. Sham says her missions is less serious than what it was before and fights Sora to see who is stronger and cuter.
After beating the Shifu Brands and the ship's guardian angel, Hime, Sham arrives back to where she woke up, the site of the piece of the spaceship, and she finds her last target, Saki. Saki asks who Sham is and why she is attacking her. Saki wonders if the reason she is being attacked is because she is ultra super cute. Sham admits that Saki is adorable. However, Sham says she is also cute, slightly cuter than Saki. Saki cannot let Sham's remark pass, but Saki also admits that Sham is cute, stating that Sham has a super attractive, smoking hot body. However, Saki states she is more cuter than Sham because she can cook and she has a cheerful personality. Sham argues that she owns a cheerful personality as well. Saki says both girl's cheerful level are equal at the moment, to which Sham agrees. Both agree that whoever can fight cuter and obtain victory shall be the cutest.
After beating Saki, Sham goes to the person who reproduced her, who is revealed to be Sumika, and she applauds Sham's work for hurting the Shifu Brands and the Guardians. Sham says her work is not over yet, she still have one more enemy left and it is Sumika. Sumika is Sham's boss but Sham still sees her as adorable, any cute person is an enemy to Sham.
After beating Sumika, Saki has reached the pinnacle of cuteness but Sumika notes that Sham is just a lone idol. Sham cannot form an idol unit without someone as cute as her, Sham has isolated herself by beating all those who are cute. Sham wonders if there is any hope but then she hears Sora calling her. Sora wants to know what Sham was talking about earlier, before their fight but then Sham gets an idea. Sora is the perfect person to help Sham form an idol unit. Sora wants to know what on earth Sham is talking about but Sham urges Sora to become idols together without explaining. Sham wants to practice their new song as idols and Sumika provides lyrics to their song, thinking something like this will happen. Sora still understands nothing as Sham is excited that their CD will sell millions. Sham predicts she and Sora will shine bright as idols.
Sometime after the events of Acceleration of Suguri, something begins to move around a piece of the spaceship that fell to the Earth in SUGURI.
arrives at a site where someone was seen to be flying in the sky. Kyoko tells herself that she is not great on jobs like this and her old wounds ache today. shows up and tells Kyoko that she seems to be in bad shape. Kyoko immediately deduces that Nath is the person she was sent to look for. Kyoko tells Nath that she does not want Nath to worry about her condition while telling Nath that her complexion looks terrible. Nath tells Kyoko her complexion has always been like this with Kyoko asking if the way Nath is, is dangerous for herself, but Kyoko also says she is not one to talk since Kyoko herself is almost as bad as Nath. Kyoko asks who Nath, and Nath introduces herself as Nath, an ultimate weapon from the past. Nath states her object is to make Kyoko feel pain. Kyoko says she is already in a lot of pain and Nath can see that. Kyoko is sure her body pain is not as bad as what Nath is facing but Nath corrects Kyoko by saying her body does not feel any pain at all. Kyoko questions Nath's statement and sees if she does not feel pain as the fight between them begins.
After beating all those who fought during the war, Kyoko arrives at the site of the piece of the spaceship and Kyoko finds it cumbersome that people keep coming one after another to attack her. Kyoko is starting to see what is really going on as appears and praises Kyoko for coming this far for being out for shape. Kyoko asks Alte to treat her more gently since Alte knows her body is out of shape. Alte declines to go gently because her orders must be followed, however Alte dislikes having to go with her full force on someone who is teetering on the edge. So Kyoko asks Alte if she can let her go home then, since Alte does not agree with the orders. Alte attacks Kyoko, asking Kyoko to not hold a grudge against her, Kyoko complains that Alte is another pain in the neck.
After beating Alte, Kyoko enters the spaceship and confirms her suspicions. Sumika welcomes Kyoko back home. Kyoko reveals that Sumika is another guardian angel of the spaceship, a mechanical doll made to take 's place as guardian. Sumika should have been abandoned since she was never finished so Kyoko asks Sumika why she is here now. Sumika explains that she completed herself after some time. Sumika is angry that Kyoko abandoned her for all this time so Kyoko apologizes and explains that she thought Sumika was gone along with the ship. Sumika argues that Kyoko could have at least checked. Kyoko calls all this a pain in the neck to which Sumika finds offense to. Sumika attacks Kyoko to make her feel all the grudges she holds, so the two fight.
After beating Sumika, Sumika wonders how Kyoko beat her since Kyoko was in bad shape. Kyoko says Sumika is just weaker than Kyoko in her bad shape, and this statement pierces Sumika's heart. Kyoko asks if she can go home now, Sumika doesn't answer and calls Kyoko a terrible person. Kyoko decides to make Sumika promise to never do anything crazy anymore and in exchange, she can go home with Kyoko. Kyoko reasons that Sumika is like family and Sumika cries. Kyoko consoles Sumika and asks her to stop crying. Sumika asks if she really is family and Kyoko answers that Sumika is a keepsake of Shifu, so she is family. Sumika asks if she can call Kyoko "mom" and Kyoko responds with a question, asking if Sumika would like to be turn solid.

An unknown person wakes up . The unknown person gives Nath her assignment to which Nath accepts with no questions. The unknown person asks Nath if anything is the matter and Nath replies that it is nothing. Nath talks to herself, saying she even has to fight in this era. Nath sets off.
After beating the Shifu Brands and the ship's guardian angel, , Nath arrives back to where she woke up, the site of the piece of the spaceship, and she finds the last of the Shifu Brand, . Iru thinks Nath looks very cool, with how her shoulders are replaced with heavy armory. Nath has never been told something like this before, as Iru continues to be amazed by Nath. Nath tells Iru that all this praise is going to make it harder to fight Iru. Iru wants to fight Nath to see what her weapons are like, and Nath agrees to a fight. Nath tries her best to not disappoint Iru.
After beating Iru, Nath goes to the person who reproduced her, stating that her mission is complete. This person is revealed to be Sumika, and she applauds Nath's work for hurting the Shifu Brands and the Guardians. Nath asks what she is supposed to do next, and Sumika responds by saying Nath will not be able to exist for much longer. Sumika gets and idea for Nath to fight her, in order to get combat experience. Nath accepts Sumika's request and Sumika asks if Nath is not mad since she thinks she said something horrible to Nath. Nath says all this is better than missions that involve killing or getting killed. Sumika asks Nath to show everything she's got.
After beating Sumika, Sumika says she messed up. Nath asks if she went too far and Sumika says Nath did not and thanks her. Nath says she has been fighting ever since she was born but she enjoyed this fight because there was no killing or getting killed. Nath also feels rewarded that she has met someone that praised her body, a first for Nath. Nath asks if Sumika has anymore jobs for her. Sumika does not and suggests Nath to go out and see the world. Nath thinks she will go out, she would have never thought she could see a world without her with her own eyes.

arrives at a site where someone was seen to be flying in the sky. Hime has a terrible feeling that there will be big trouble. finds Hime and greets her as the princess of sky. Star Breaker introduces herself as the princess of flame, a flame to burn the planet. Hime says what Star Breaker is saying sounds dangerous. Star breaker says it is time for the two princesses to fight with Hime saying she is not actually a princess. Star breaker explains that after this fight, the will turn the planet into charcoal, Hime says she won't let this happen.
After beating all the reproductions of those who fought during the war, Hime arrives at the site of the piece of the spaceship. She knows who is capable of creating mechanical dolls that can mimic people of the past. Hime finds Sora looking angry. Sora explains that all these people who are attacking are people she fought before. Sora says all this is unforgivable, waking people who are resting in peace and making them fight again, she will stop whoever is doing this. Hime asks if she can take care of this since it is someone she knows but Sora disagrees with Hime. Sora does not want to overlook something so horrible and wants to fight this person. Hime really wants to deal with this on her own and does not want Sora to fight anymore, and she threatens to chain Sora up if she won't stop. Sora says she will just beat Hime and run.
After restraining Sora, Hime enters the spaceship and calls out Sumika to reveal herself. Sumika welcomes Hime and Hime says Sumika was made to a new guardian to replace Hime. Sumika explains she was abandoned in the middle of her development and she worked a lot to complete herself. Hime praises Sumika for her hard work and asks Sumika to explain what is going on. Sumika says she is thankful for Hime for helping her out as the ship was shot down, if Hime had not helped back then, Sumika would not be here now. Sumika still has to fight Hime because it was Shifu's wish for Sumika to surpass Hime. Hime curses Shifu for causing trouble even after he died then the two begin fighting.
After beating Sumika, Hime hopes Sumika learned a lesson. Sumika accepts that she cannot surpass Hime. Hime tells Sumika that she has a lot of people to apologize to and offers to go with her. Since Sumika thinks as Hime as a sister, Hime will treat her like one. Sumika apologizes to Hime and thank her. Hime remembers that Sora was very mad about what Sumika has done, so mad that she needed to be chained up. Hime wonders if Sora will ever forgive both of them. Sumika is shocked and asked if Hime really chained Sora up. Hime guesses that Sora is even madder now and regrets what she has done. Hime thinks if she and Sumika apologize together to Sora, it might work to Sora's anger. Sumika is very worried that Sora won't accept their apologies and thinks they will be probably fine, maybe. Hime guesses Sora might burn the two with a hot laser beam, but Hime is very sure it will be all fine. Sumika does not have any confidence that anything is fine at all. Hime unrestrains Sora and tries to calm down Sora. Sumika begs for forgiveness and promises not to do anything like she has done again. Hime also apologizes as Sumika's sister. Sora tells the two not to worry as the heat of her lasers only last a moment. Hime and Sumika screams.

An unknown person wakes up . Star Breaker asks why she is revived in an era like this, and the unknown person says Star Breaker is not revived, she is reproduced. This person is in an urgent need for strong soldiers that are stronger than the Shifu Brands. Star Breaker understands she is supposed to burn out everything, Sumika reveals herself as the unknown person and asks Star Breaker to not go overboard. Sumika looks forward to Star Breaker's work.
After beating the Shifu Brands and the ship's guardian angel, , Star Breaker arrives back to where she woke up, the site of the piece of the spaceship, finding . Star Breaker welcomes Suguri as the guardian angel of the planet as Suguri is shocked that even Star Breaker was reproduced. Star Breaker introduces herself as a monster that turns planets into dust. Suguri says that Star Breaker is not allowed to exist in this world and Star Breaker agrees, saying that there is nothing to do since there is no war. Star Breaker says that Suguri is born to repair the planet, and she was born to break the planet, they must fight now that they have met each other. They must fight to determine who gets to accomplish their goal. Suguri pledges she won't be erased by Star Breaker.
After beating Suguri, Star Breaker returns to Sumika. Sumika applauds Star Breaker's work, and also calls her Starb. Star Breaker dislikes Sumika calling her Starb, Sumika says it is her bad. Star Breaker asks if she can go back to sleep now since she finished her mission. Star Breaker does not need this warless world, and the world does not need Star Breaker either. Star Breaker wishes she can burn everything away but her body is not tough enough to make her wish come true. Sumika limited Star Breaker's strength to keep her in control. Star Breaker, again, tells Sumika she wants to leave this world already, she has no business here. Sumika asks Star Breaker to fight her, Sumika wants some combat experience before Star Breaker goes back to sleep. Star Breaker agrees with Sumika's idea, she thinks it will make her feel better by burning up the person who woke her up in a boring era.
After beating Sumika, Star Breaker did not feel better at the slightest. Star Breaker asks if she is finally done now. Sumika says she has nothing left for Star Breaker to do and asks Star Breaker to go to sleep quietly. Star Breaker calls Sumika self-centered since she was the one who woke Star Breaker up in the first place. Star Breaker bids goodbye to the boring world and hopes the next time she wakes up, she will wake up in a world where she can shine, a world in a war. She wishes to die in such a world then Star Breaker falls back asleep. Sumika does not think Star Breaker's wish will come true, and pities her.

Stage arena of Acceleration of SUGURI 2
In Acceleration of SUGURI 2, the matches take place inside a circular airborne fighting arena. Characters cannot leave the arena and are bounded inside the arena. Thirteen selectable stages animate the background of the arena stage, with most of these stages being based off of stages from Sora and a few being based off stages from SUGURI.
Story-wise, the overall setting of the game takes place some time after the extra stage in Sora.

Before Acceleration of SUGURI 2's awaited release on Steam in 2018, it was announced on September 24th, 2017 that anyone who purchased Acceleration of SUGURI 2 would receive a special bonus character, , as a character for use in 100% Orange Juice![9] This version of is not shown in Acceleration of SUGURI 2 and is exclusively created to be a bonus for owners of both games. This character features a different playstyle, a new passive effect, and a new Hyper card, 
Revival of Stars, for the player to experience. Since Acceleration of SUGURI 2's original release date, the offer has remained, and the bonus character can still be unlocked if the player purchases Acceleration of SUGURI 2 on Steam.
